The aircraft: The Meteor was the only Allied jet fighter to go into action during W.W. II and to enter in regular squadron service with the RAF. But due its poor performances of her jet engines it was used in ground-attack role or to fight the V-1 missiles.

I built this model some 20 years ago.  I built it OOB and I elected to put it on a display-stand to show its graceful lines.  It's a basic but nice model to assemble, the colours used were: Xtra-Color X6 for Ocean Grey 36187, Molak MFSC 34079 for the Dark Green and Molak MFSC 36270 for the Medium Sea-Grey.  The model represent a 616° RAF Sqn. machine based in Holland in the last months of the war.

Many greetings from Italy!
