F-16CM 148FW 5th Gen Have Glass Viper

Fifth generation Have Glass is a new paint scheme with the ability to reduce radar signature. This paint is dark gray and has a sheen at certain angles. F-16s were painted entire the aircraft with this scheme

My subject is a F-16C from 179th FS, 148th FW Minnesota Air National Guard is painted 5th Gen HG. This particular aircraft was the first 5HG deployed to Afghanistan battlefield in 2012. I am admired the bulldog on her tail.

The 5HG paint is close to FS 36076 that is unavailable in LHS. My experimental paint is mixed from GSI Mr.Color 339 (FS16081), 326 (FS 15044) and 72 (intermediate blue).

This model replicated landing-taxiing aircraft. So, the speed brakes are open and the exhaust closed. The load out were transit configuration, only gas bags and travel pods.
