This F-16A is my
latest work. The kit was very good. But some details (landing gear bay,
landing gear, nozzle) was poor.

I built this kit
straight out of the box, except for the nozzle, landing gear and landing gear bay. The nozzle was
replaced by resin parts from Aires. Its detailing satisfied me. I added some wires
to the landing gear and
landing gear bay with enamel wire and etc.
I mainly concentrated on
painting. For basic painting, I used CSI Creos lacquer mixed with white color.
Then, I place dots on the surface of the model to each of the basic colors with oil paints. And the
dots were blended with a brush.

The color tone of the paint job was
weathered by
several colours. Enamel flat black, buff, grey were used to add
weathering. Oil stain was applied with oil paint (Raw umber) and powder
from pastels.
I am very happy to submit my model to ARC and thanks to all of you for reading
my article.
