1/48 Tamiya ME-109E "Molders"

Here is one from a little while ago.  Tamiya has done an excellent job with this kit.  No fit problems at all in which I took a welcome sigh of relief.  The model is totally out of the box with no after market parts being added as I am just another broke college kid.  Painted in a splinter camo scheme with blotched fuselage sides, this aircraft truly represents a fighter plane.  The decals that were included in the kit were of a tropical version and that of famed Luftwaffe ace Werner Molders.  I chose this scheme as I thought it would be a welcome addition to the shelf and because Werner Molders is one of my all time favorite aces behind American Don Gentile.

Weathering was kept somewhat to a minimum, as I didn't want to dirty it up that bad.  Not much can be said about this kit in the way of problems, because there weren't any.  But a lot can be said about fun and pleasurable it was to build.  So instead of talking all day, I will leave it to you to give it a try for yourself.  You won't be disappointed.
