Hi
guys, I just finished the 1/32nd Trumpeter A-10, I decided
to paint it in the snow hog scheme.
First
the cockpit needed a resin update, so I chose the Legend update set that includes
the tub and the seat.
Also
the kit was urging me to open a lot of panels, so I did a lot of scratchbuilding including
the electronics bays, battery compartment, and rectifying some mistakes by
Trumpeter in the refueling hatch
After
constructing the kit, it was time for painting, so used the standard techniques,
first of all the preshading with
enamel black, and then I had the most funny idea, to paint the white with
glossy paint!!!!
In
the beginning it was frustrating, and difficult to cover the preshading, but
eventually it was a good technique, and made a good contrast!!!!

The
paints I used were Tamiya acrylics!!!
After
the painting, it was time for decals, postshading with lot of different tones of
the basic colors, I even used green and blue!!!
In
conclusion it was a good kit and I enjoyed it, hope you do to!!!
