This new decal sheet from Max Decals features a total of 6 different aircraft all in Irish markings and with enough extra serial numbers to make over 19 aircraft.  A few of these aircraft have special artwork and badges, not big grand artwork, but interesting all the same.  

You get the following aircraft on this decal sheet:

  • SA 365Fi Dauphin helicopter #244 ser # 6124 for the Trumpeter kit using the Modelworks FMR-003 nose and tail conversion with addition serial numbers to make more Irish SA 365Fi Dauphin helicopters aircraft including #245, #246 and #247. 

  • Pilatus PC-9M aircraft  #260 with addition serial numbers to make more Irish Pilatus PC-9M aircraft. 

  • Cessna FR-172H, aircraft  #206 with addition serial numbers to make more Irish Cessna FR-172H aircraft including #203, #205, #208 and #210.   

  • Siai-Marchetti SF260W Warrior,  aircraft  #226 with addition serial numbers to make more Irish Siai-Marchetti SF260W Warrior aircraft including #225, #229, #230 and #231.   

  • Alouette III helicopter,  aircraft  #195 with addition serial numbers to make 2 more Irish Alouette III helicopter aircraft including #211 and #213.  You get  a 75th anniversary badge added in 1997 to aircraft #195.  As well as Pink Panther artwork added to aircraft #213 in 2001.  

  • Gazelle and Dauphin helicopter #241

The decals are clearly printed on one decal sheet and the colours look very solid and should cover well.  The 4 pages of colour instructions include extra info about each aircraft as well as painting instructions.  There is also instructions about correct application of these decals.

This is a very nice decal sheet with a good variety of Irish aircraft.  I must confess I've always had a soft spot for Irish aircraft, so seeing this sheet was a pleasant treat.
