El Rey is
here from glorious warm Mexico with his 1/48 Hobbyboss P-38L Putt Putt
Maru.
El Rey did quite a bit of extra
work on his P-38 including scratchbuilt detailing. The paint scheme is
a flawless bare metal finish with colorful markings for the fighter of a
famous ace in the Pacific. It is a treat to see the photos of this
P-38. |
|
|
|
|
Patrick Vossenberg
has done an amazing job detailing and weathering his 1/72 Revell F-16B (2x).
Patrick added some resin and photos etch to detail his jet and
them gave them
a full weapons load and a
stunning weathering job and markings for Belgium and Jordan. I
love the look of his F-16's. |

Richard Spreckley
has created an absolutely divine diorama for his first venture
into building a WWI plane. Richard chose the very nice 1/48 Copper State Models Sopwith Dolphin 5FI
and then showed off certain areas such as the engine and added
the upper guns and pilot to complete this historically accurate
scene. Richard explains the build process as well as how he
created the stunning display. Sit back and enjoy the photos. |
|
|
|
|
Michael Phillips
has excelled on his 1/48 AMK IAI Kfir C7 - Lion Cub 555.
Michael added extra detailing and then finished his Kfir in
Israeli markings complete with a stunning camo scheme. I

|
André Manzano
used a WolfPack Design conversion set to complete his stunning 1/48 HobbyBoss Dassault Rafale C.
André gave his Rafale a very realistic looking weathering job
and the French markings came from a Skyraider Model Designs decal
sheet. I love how this Rafale looks. |
|
|
|
|
Didier Mayeur
joins us with his big and very impressive 1/72 Italeri Short Sunderland MkIII.
Didier was very carefiul in all areas in this model including
the amazing cockpit and even gave it weathering that included bird
droppings. The Eduard detailing in the cockpit looks first
rate. It is a treat to see this 4 engined flying boat beast on

has done a
marvelous job building and finishing his 1/72 AZ Models Super Mystere B2.

Michael Phillips
starts today in grand style with his 1/48 Tamiya F-14A Tomcat - Fast Eagle 100. Michael
chose a Tomcat from the mid 70's with VF-41 Black Aces in hi-viz
markings from Furball Decals with a gentle application of weathering
to help bring out the wonderful details on his Tamiya F-14.
This F-14 is a treat to see.

|
|
|
|
Straker65
has captured the faded look with great success on his 1/72 Hobbyboss Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat.
Straker65 gave his fighter shaded panel lines and some mild
paint chipping which replicates the look of the Widcats that were
stationed under the blazing sun in the Pacific. I really love
the look of this one. |
|
|
|
|
Carmel J. Attard
did plenty of extra work on his 1/72 Airmodel Yak-17 UTI including
scratchbuilding to create his Bulgarian jet trainer. This is a
vac-u-formed kit and as you read Carmel's article, you will
appreciate the extra love and attention that is needed to complete a
vac kit. But as you will see in his photos, the extra effort
is well worth it in the end. |

Jean-Charles
Goddet starts today with his very special 1/72 Hasegawa
Grumman F-14B VF-74. This F-14 is painted in an adversary
camo
scheme to simulate a Russian jet. Jean-Charles
added the kit photo etch to dress up the cockpit and has the canopy
open to show off his work. His finished model is a treat to
see. |

Shawn
“phantom” Weiler had a grand time building his 1/32
Tamiya Mustang. This is the big Tamiya Mustang and Shawn
took full advantage of all that detail. He used aftermarket
decals to complete his P-51 in RCAF markings and a bare metal
finish. The end result of all his work looks excellent. |

Thomas Brückelt
dropped by the ARC Corporate office in Germany with his
1/72 HobbyBoss Messerschmitt Me 262 Racer.
This what-if air racer is something I never expected to see for a
262 and I must admit the idea is brilliant. His custom decals
make this Me 262 look like a very realistic air racer. I'm
impressed Thomas.

Tom Dziedzic
has done a
marvelous job detailing and weathering his
1/48 Tamiya MiG-15.
Tom added photo etch to dress up the detail in the cockpit and
flaps and then some resin wheels before giving it a perfect looking
weathering job. His finished MiG is quite attractive indeed. |

Tolga Ülgür
is here with a 109 in a very unique paint scheme. This is
his
1/32 Hasegawa Bf-109G-6 “Black 10” with resin goodies
including the cockpit, stabs, wheels, exhausts and prop. I
love the paint scheme.....it is quite eye catching. |

|
|
Dragan Cvetic
is here with his cool looking
1/72
HobbyBoss F-5E. Dragan improved the cockpit detail and
scrathcbuilt guns and pitot tube before giving it a great looking
camo scheme for the Iranian Air Force. This is a great looking
F-5.

Etch Cut-Off Set - Standard from
The
Small Shop.
This Photo Etch Cut-Off Set - Standard is designed to hold the photo
etch fret as you remove parts from the photo etch fret. This is
a big help so parts don't go flying into your carpet or parts unknown.

Luqmanul Hakim A.K.A Mee Wan
joins us
from Malaysia with
his beautifully painted
1/72
Revell RMAF Airbus A-400M. This A-400 has a very subtle
weathering job with beautifully done shaded panel lines. I
love the look of this one in it's Malaysian markings.
