Jens Gerber joins
us from Germany with his 1/48 Trumpeter MiG 3 finished in the
heavily weathered winter camo worn by these aircraft during
WW2. Jens used a very interesting and easy to follow
weathering process which he talks about in his article. I love
the look of this winter fighter. Nicely done Jens.

Max Bianchi has
done an excellent job on his Polish 1/32 Revell MiG-29.
Max opened up an engine panel to show off his scratchbuilt engine
detailing and then gave his MiG-29 some subtle weathering and custom
Mermaid artwork and Polish markings. This one is a
beauty.

Danny Dinh is here
with a very unique 1/48
Monogram A-1H Skyraider. This particular Skyraider was
flown by a special group of South Vietnamese pilots in support
of their own special forces, but it is the unusual markings that
make this model so interesting. Danny tells the whole story in
his article. Well done Danny!!!

This sheet has a massive selection of camo

Hot
Babe of the Week!
this week from Twobobs
is courtesy of the fine folks at VAQ-129. As
part of the US Navy's assistance to Twobobs to commemorate the Naval

David Porter has
gone to town and then some on his 1/32 Academy F/A-18B Hornet.
David used a combination of after market items and some very
exacting modelling skill to create this impressive Aussie
Hornet. Grab a tea of coffee and enjoy this one during your
break....the paint and weathering will leave you in awe.

Gabriel Stern is
here with a ski equipped bush plane that has left a big grin on my
face. This is his Modified Execuform 1/72 Fairchild Canada Super 71
done up to his high level of wonderful detail, and the fact it is on
skis just makes it look all that more appealing. This is one
cool looking aircraft.

Lou Anatrella is
here with a very helpful Tools
and Tips article regarding Helicopter Rotor Rotation.
I've never pondered the issue about which way rotor blades should
spin and I'm impressed Lou has taken the time to shed light on this
critical area of helicopter modeling. |
